Good news for those who didnt get the Iomega cdrw from comp usa

As you all know comp usa doesnt do "rain checks" but i called my local store(s) and talked with some managers and they all said that they were accepting "pre-payments" so you can still go in pay for the drive for the same price, and they will call you when they get some more in stock. Hope it helps all you guys out that didnt manage to get one. =)

I doubt that Compusa will actually give you the drive. They pulled this rain check trick on me twice before. Once I was getting a monitor and the other time I was hoping to get a 128MB PNY SDRAM. Both times they asked me to pay at the register first then told me that they would inform me when the products come in... and both times I waited for more than 2 weeks and they ended up telling me the products ain't coming and refunded my money. Total waste of my time. This is my 2 cents.
