Gephardt's support of illegals. So deso this mean that Al-Qaeda members that have been in the U.S. for more than 5 years can become citizens if they vote the democrats in? Nah, this would not start a new tidal wave of illegal immigration.

It'd be nice if, at the very least, the person who POSTS the article could read it.

The bill Gephardt touted would allow illegal immigrants to get a green card if they've lived in the United States for five years, worked full-time for two years, and have passed a background check.

Mind telling me how to verify that someone has been living in the country for 5 years especially since they have been getting paid in cash for thier "full-time job for two years" and probably don't have a residence? And how do you perform a background check on an illegal immigrant? His employer would probably deny that the person ever worked for him, plus they may reveal the location of the sweatshop.

I lived in St. Louis when he first ran for Congress. He is spineless, and will do anything to get elected and damn the consequences.
