After the deaths of the 2 Iranian women back in July, this is great news. As always, 'day-by-day' seems to be the what the doctors are prescribing.

The twins remained in critical but stable condition Wednesday on mechanical ventilators. They showed no signs of infections or spinal fluid leaks, Thomas said.

Been watching this closely on a daily basis, since it is a local happening. So far so good.
There was a little minor problem yesterday with one of the twins, but that looks to have been resolved.

The sad thing about the women from Iran is that they waited so long befor the attempt was made.
Had the operation been attrempted before they were 5 or so thier chances would have been better,
however the state of the art of Medical Technology back then may have not allowed them to do what
can be done now - MRI all the imigaging technology, lessons learned from thier loss may have actually
contributed to the present successfullness of what these boys so far have attained.
