Good Network Cards?

Can anyone recommend me good full duplex 10/100 network cards? I have 2 Linksys NetworkEverywhere cards (NC100) 10/100, but they don't seem to cut it. File transfers are OK, but access times and switching in and out of network sites seems too sluggish - I believe they're only capable of half duplex 10/100, I could be wrong. Can anyone recommend me good 10/100 adapters which are economical but very efficient? I'm currently looking at Netgear's FA311, and FA310TX line, and also D-Link's 530TX and 538TX. Any experience with these cards would be appreciated, or others that you could think of!

I own the netgear FA310TX and FA312TX. They are both top quality cards, I like the FA310TX a little more because it seems to have a better chip set which makes it a little faster IMHO. I also got the FA310TX at BUY.COM for cheap. Check it out.

Thanks Swank...the only problem for me to purchase the Netgears is that I can't find any local store that sells them. The D-Links are widely available - any experience with them guys?

I have a d-link in my server and love it

Best damn ethernet card I've seen.

It's fast and works with win2k and most operating systems (linux too)

I know my suggestions are not in your list, but I would recommend a 3com card. They are around $40 or so on Pricewatch and I have been thoroughly impressed with them. At my previous job, we only used 3Com cards. I found that buying cheaper cards and saving $25 ends up being a losing deal with the hassle getting them setup and troubleshooting when things go wrong.

The only NIC card I've had problems with is my linksys card. It works fine, but wont upgrade to win2k (ugh)

Even when downloading drivers off the net for it, it still doesn't work.

I don't know, that's just my experience, but I've found a few minor problems with linksys products...

I now use 3Com & all is well & fast too.
