Im looking for a good music mixer where I can crossfade, scratch, equalize music levels, etc. Im using PlayR Deluxe but it isnt that good. Is Acid a good prog for this? Also, is there a program that can play like one track on the left speaker while playing a different track on the right speaker?basically, i need the functinality of DJ turntables and a mixer.

$800 you can get a decent mixer and a set of turntables, just dont go to your local record store to by them..

Easiest thing to do is ask a DJ, They always know a wholesalsmen that can hook you up w/ decent prices..

Get the turntables first.. Technics 1200 M3D's($300x2), Always by the best tables, always direct drive (NO BELTS)..

And get a semi decent mixer to start off with, Gemini($100-$200) makes some decent budget mixers that should work well for whatever your doing..
