I've searched but didn't really find anything conclusive. I've looked into Cakewalk and Acid DJ.. but I don't know of any others or even what's good between the two I listed.Also, there's Acid Techno and regular Acid. Cakewalk and Cakewalk remix. Doh 
And I think there's even one called Techno Ejay. Blah, any help would be appreciated.The 30-50$ range looks good for me. Thanks
edited to say I'm looking to make Techno/Trance, but not exclusively.. But that will probably be 90% of my efforts.
