good motherboard for over clocking

I was curious on what your opinions were for good over clocking mother boards... i really want the DFI lanparty but it will be next to impossible to get untill the end of the month and im rather impatient.. is there anything else thats comparable? how are the MSI and ASUS boards? any opinions?

Shuttle or chaintech are the best overclocking A64 boards.

Shuttle, DFI, Abit are the best XP boards.

ABIT, Asus, DFI are the best 478 boards.

Chaintech hmm.. which model numbers are you referring to.. im looking for a nforce 250GB board.. also does anyone have any realistic numbers on what i should be able to overclock my 3400+ newcastle to? im hoping to hit close to the 3ghz mark.. ill be using OCZ pc3200 plat ram

EDIT:
You're probably not going to get anywhere near 3 GHz, unless you have some exotic phase cooling system. Watercooling might get you to 2.7-2.8. Don't expect any higher than 2.6 on air.
