Way back when I bought the original BF Vietnam. Now I see they sell it as BFV redux.

What's the difference and can you just patch up your original version? Or is the original pointless now with everyone playing the new style?

Redux is just BF: Vietnam with a patch. After you patch your original BF: Vietnam with the latest patch, you are good to go.

I was very disappointed with BF:V. The best part was the music!

I liked it; especially the "booby-trap" of the Vietcong.

Personally I loved the US grenadier.
