Good Monitors with a multitude of inputs?

I was looking at this 24" Gateway:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16824113012

It has every input I need:

Composite (PS1, N64)
Component: (Wii, PS3, PS2, Xbox 360)
HDMI: (PS3, 360, PC)
DVI: (PC)
D-SUB: (Dreamcast, 360)

But when I saw the monitor in person at a Best Buy I was pretty disappointed. While the monitor was nice and all the picture wasn't crisp at all and the color variation/backlight bleeding was a little ridiculous compared to the other monitors there. Simly put, the picture looked crappy. And I'm no monitor/videophile.

so what do I do? I have no idea what other monitors have as many inputs as those do. I'd hate to part with one of them. Any ideas? I'd prefer a 20"-24" monitor, primarily for my PC and PC Gaming and secondary for Console Gaming (Wii, PS3, 360, etc.). I'm willing to go up to $450-500, but nothing more.

Unfortunately I don't know of anywhere where you can see it in person.

Some people may say it has too much input lag if you are a huge FPS gamer, but other than that it is rated as one of the best monitors out there.

Hmm I do play a lot of FPS games (Half Life 2, CoD4, Orange Box, etc.). How bad is the input lag? $600 is pushing it though, :/

some people don't notice it at all.

there are some other monitors out there that have all the connectors, but they are either huge and expensive or overpriced for what size they are.

Dang...I guess I'll have to delay the whole monitor deal until I can amass a bit more money.

I just got a brand new 24" Samsung 2493HM. It only has DVI/VGA/HDMI so I don't know if this is good enough for you but it may be worth having a look at it.

Unfortunately no, I still would like to have component & composite inputs (for consoles). Of course, I could use this external Component --> VGA device but I'd rather not have extra hardware: http://www.x2vga.com/

Plus, I still wouldn't be able to do composite.
