My dad's a gamer and he needs a bigger monitor cause he's getting old, so I was thinking of getting a 19 inch, maybe NEC fe991 or a Dell M992. Any recommendations out there?

Edit: Just talked to him a cheap 21 inch maybe an option. Which would be better for bad eyesight DP 930sb or maybe Viewsonic G220?

I have a Dell P991 19", IMO it's a very nice monitor, been using it for 4 years now.
Don't know how the M992's are different, I'm guessing they're just a later version?
(I know they went from P990 to P991, don't know what happened after that). But I love 1600x1200 @ 85Hz.

Thanks for the quick replys everyone. I'm ordering him a NEC fp912sb from Dell. By the way how long is Viewsonic's warranty on their monitors, cause he had a Gsomething and it just crapped out a few months ago?

I've got my newest monitor, a ViewSonic UltraBrite A90f+... my monitor before was a Dell (Sony) Trinitron that was manufactured in '95... only reason for replacing it was it would be ~$70 to ship it from Seattle to Charleston...

I've had several ViewSonic's in the past, though, and 2 NEC's... both NEC's died... :(
