In my system I need to use 1x 12V PATA power cable, 1xFloppy and 2X sata power cables. At the moment I have an X-Finity PSU with FlexForce cables I am able to slip behind the motherboard plating but the mess is still there. Is there a PSU that can power an OC'ed X2 4200+, 1x 150GB Raptor, 1x 250GB Maxtor. No PCI-e power needed and do something about the cables, maybe disconnect the ones I dont need.

I suggest against getting a modular psu. They are not as efficent as standard power supplies.

Not necessarily. The Enermax Liberty is one of the most efficient power supplies, and it's modular.

There is an ongoing debate concerning modular vs non - modular.
Even people who have vast knowledge debate this issue.
Becuause it gets into such things such as...
gold plating in the plugs connectors...
what type of connector is better than....
Is there enough play once the connector are connected to eventually cause a short or other issue if the connector wiggles lose....
what % of power is lost becuase you have that extra connection from the PSU to the....

Then if you look at Zippy/Enhance and PC Power & Cooling you should be asking yourself why do those companies not put out a modular PSU?
Even though PC Power & Cooling has authorized 2 companies to do a modular mod.
One of whish is performance PC.
Sadly they did not authorize them to do a complete modular mod.

Then there was a very good discussion a while back on the advatages and the disadvantages of modular that had no flaming at all in the thread.

The bottom line I believe concerning going modular is to get yourself a name brand that is modular and spend some money.
For some reason if you spend a little money then you get peace of mind that your modular is of good quality.

The Enermax Liberty is a very nice way to go!

The Liberty is one I would personally get if I wanted to go modular.

Good Luck!
