Good Modem and Router combo

I am looking for a good modem and router combo I'm not too picky as long as they both have easy gui to work with and it needs to be reliable...I dont really have a price range on this so let me know what you guys think are the best modem and routers out there for affordable but not too expensive prices...

I've been looking into the E2000, E3000, and the N900. I like all 3 of them lol. They all have good reviews. Can you boot an OS via USB port on any of these devices, just an idea kinda curious I've been trying to look it up but cant find much.

I am completly in a bad mojo with Motorola, everyone that I have had I have had issues with, but I am going to look into it and yeah I have had my eyes on the 3200 as well Thanks Furore01

I happen to use one of those Motorola modems before and had issues with it, so I returned it and forgot about it lol

Not sure about booting from the USB port, I don't think that you can though. The most important thing when looking for a router IMHO is whether or not it is supported by DD-WRT.

The problems that most people have with routers are generally firmware issues and not anything that is wrong with the hardware itself. DD-WRT is based on Linux and absolutely rock solid.

....cricket....cricket....im going to go ahead and say no not going to happen.

I use DD-WRT and am a big fan! 🙂 I do not think you can go wrong with any linksys router with DD-WRT.

Just updated my WNR2000v2 with DD-WRT. Pretty nice! This router can be had $20-30 refurbished. Do you really need a router like the E3200, Rainey? Judging by your OP I don't think so. Any sub $70 router should suffice. The higher priced one's aren't more reliable, they just have extra features that sound cool but most people never use or need.
