im lookin into buildin a Duron sys for my rents nothing to crazy. just somethin they can use to surf the net and do some simple things. i need to know what mobo or mnobos i should look into. probilly pput a 1.0 GHz CPU in there
 
Asus A7N266-VM gets my vote: specs Note that it has an AGP slot in case you get Mom hooked on Doom3 and she demands a GeForce4 Ti4600 or something 😀 The onboard sound is respected as one of the best audio solutions around. If you do get one, note that the CPU/memory jumpers are pictured upside down in the manual.
 
upside down. humm thast good to know. and i will be usin teh AGP slot because ihave an extra GF2 lyin arround and they like the screne to do at least 1024x768


and i i saw my mom playin doom 3 id do the :Q face and probilly have a heart attack
