Good MiniDisc sites?

I've changed my mind from getting a MP3-CD player to a MD player now. Any suggestions on sites or the MDs themselves?

I like the look of the Sonys, but I've heard that their sound quality is inferior to Sharp's.

People actually release and sell music in MD format? I haven't
seen the MiniDisc marketed in Canada since the early 90's.

MD sounds better! the bitrate is 292kpbs for MD, and the MP3 is 196kpbs or 128kpbs.

minidisc.org is very informative.
Minidiscs use ATRAC compression, which is similar quality as mp3, but I've never compared them myself.
I'm holding out for the new $500 6GB+ mp3 players appearing soon, providing some serious competition to minidisc.
