I've got an MSI KM133a (6340m v3.0) that I haven't had any problems with. I'm using it for Mandrake Linux and it runs great with the 750Mhz Duron and 256mb of PC133 I put in it. I also loaded Win 98 and W2k on it before Linux and I had no problems with those OS's either. It also has an AGP slot, but I elected to use the onboard video for now.

If you want a DDR solution for AMD, Chaintech makes a SiS 735 based board (7SID). I have no experience with their products though, so I can't vouch for the reliability of them.

Gigabyte also makes a KM133a board (GA-7ZMMH), and from what I have heard, their boards are of decent quality.

ECS also makes a SiS 730 based board for AMD processors (K7SEM). It seems to be hit or miss with them regarding quality. Some ppl have no problems at all, others have major issues.

Hope this helps..... :D

Ive been looking at Biostar M6VLQ $52 (for Intel celly900) or a Biostar M7VKS $55 (for AMD Duron 950) for a new lan box for me, both are micro atx size and have onboard vid (and are cheap price)

For AMD, I'd wait for Abit's NV7m. It's a nForce board with LAN, Sound, and MX video, but also has a AGP slot if u need it. It will be a tad expensive, so you make the call. The MX video will be miles ahead of ProSavage thats on the mSi KM133a board. The MSI KM133A will be fine, but I'd really consider nForce.

I've ordered a Giga-byte GA-7zmmh & 950 Duron(Newegg) for a friend's box, should be putting it together next weekend. For a DDR solution, there's the Aopen MK7A, AMD 761 northbridge, getting hard to find.... and some others that haven't really arrived, like the Epox ep-8khm or the previously mentioned nforce board... I'm sure that the MSI is decent, not too sure about the other cheaper ones mentioned....
