Good mini-system for LAN party? Advice/recommendations?

Hi everyone. I am thinking about putting together a mini system for LAN party use. With the plethora of systems and configurations out there I thought I ask here and get some expert advice.

I'd probably still go with an Athlon because of price consideration but I still want hi-end video (assuming any of those cards actually fit inside a mini-case. )

Anyone have a recommendation for a mid-range mini-system? Or can refer a link to a good article?

P.S. I should also mention I'm just considering the box part, I already have a mouse/keyboard/LCD display.

P.P.S. I've just found a few systems but it looks like P4 seems to be the standard.
 
The Shuttle SN45 is the newest AMD one and has a NForce2/400 chipset. About as cutting edge as they come for mini systems. It has 1 PCI slot and 1 AGP slot which can accomodate a good video card. forums.sudhian.com is the best resource for SFF computing.
