I preordered so I'm supposed to get some free headset but I heard it sucks. What's a good one for gaming?

My bad, I thought you only wanted a desktop mic. If you want a headset I'd second NiKeFiDO's recommendation for the Sennheiser PC 150s. GREAT sound and reliable unlike the Plantronics. Order from ecost or amazon

My experience with headsets for gaming have been crap. They work for maybe 6 months then die. All the ones I have used really were poorly made. Another brand to look at is the Logitech's but they are some of the ones that I have used and died . So maybe you should get the Sennheiser.
