I used to always use EZ Macros but it's not free and it doesn't even run on my computer anymore "A referral was returned from the server" ???

So instead of dealing with this hassle I'd like to explore other options

My main requirement is a program which records my mouse/keyboard events with timing (so if I hit a key then sit idle for 30 seconds then the playback of the macro also hits a key and sits idle for 30 seconds) and that it can be looped infinitely.

Any suggestions?

I know it's easy to google, I can do that too - but I was looking for recommendations from people who use these programs, because when I look through the list on the link you provided I see Shareware, shareware, shareware... so it doesnt meet the first criteria of it being free and also reading through the description of some of them I see some dont record mouse events, others don't have real-time playback...

I must apologize to you for my inferior reply to your query, as well as my poor attempt to make your query more accurately reflect your expectations. I should have realized that one so superior is entitled to nothing less than responses from macro program users only, who have gratefully done all the product research and testing for you, thus ensuring that all of your criteria and expectations would be immediately satisfied.
