We have one our TeAm mATes undergoing a most severe medical treatment. He enters the hospital today. In addition to our prayers I would like to have us bomb him with emails. As soon as I find out what that email address may be I'll post it here.

Hello all

Just to let everyone know what happening here. I'm in the MTR and mentioned it there but I figured I'd let everyone here know what is happening if I drop in production due to a long power outage.

I went to the eye doctor for the first time since I was a teenager (i'll be 35 next year) due to what I thought was failing sight in my right eye. Was told I did need glasses and was given my prescription. I got my new glasses and low and behold, not much improvement. Go back and he says I'm not used to wearing glasses and weakens my prescription to "make me more comfortable". Still don't like it so I go get a second opinion. Well the second doctor couldn't believe what he saw, had another doctor look at it and then ran an hour and a half of tests. They then sent me to a specialist in Maine the next day who also couldn't believe what he saw and now I need to go to Philly PA on Jan 6 and I'm not sure how long the treatment will take. Apparently I have a Cordial Melanoma (cancer) in my eye. I've lost 30%-40% of my vision in the right eye already and the doctor in Philly is probably the only person that can save what's left of it. Guess I wont be doing this smoking fun

I'll have my systems up and running durring the time I'm away but if I have a large power outage my production will drop or stop alltogether.

Just figured I'd let you guys know whats happening, that and it helps me deal with this by talking about it. Oh yea forgot to say my 2year aniversary with the team was this week as well. Go Captin Crunch Warriors!!!

Yes, that is his personal email address but I am referring to the email address of the hospital. Scott is supposed to let us know what is "their" email address so we can message him there. 😉 🙂

(Sorry I wasn't clear on that.)

Good luck Scott. I hope things work out well. Nothing scares me more then losing my hearing or sight. It's amazing what they can do now days with the eye. Let us all know how it goes.
