i just don't get these people. that was a kewl ad too:)

i liked the french maid too heh oh well:p seemed rather wholesome too considering it showed a healthy marriage;)

Link:)

Dannon Yogurt currently has an ad running which is very suggestive. Here is the way one viewer describes it: "In this ad the wife is dressed up as a French maid and the husband is being seduced by her as if they were having an affair. The woman is dressed in a very revealing maid's uniform and is serving the man la Creme yogurt. She speaks to him in a very seductive voice. The viewer is left to believe that this is the maid and she is putting a 'big push' on the man. At the end of the ad, two young girls appear at the door. One of them says something to the effect that 'My mother is so weird.' The woman in the maid's uniform changes her tone of voice and says something to the effect that 'You are home early, young lady.'"

i don't have a link to the commercial, isn't ad critic gone now?

Man, they need an editor who actually knows how to properly write. That's more annoying to me than they stupid ludicrous "problem" they have. Unfortunately, the company will probably pull the ad rather than upset a few whiners.

I hope no one that I know ever sinks to that level.

I will never understand some people...absolutely ridiculous. They have way too much time on their hands.

IT'S YOGURT FOR GOD'S SAKE

My email to them:

"Grow up.

Don?t like what you see? Change the channel. You can take your feeble censorship attempts and move to another country if you don?t like it here. I?ll even chip in for the boot to kick you in the rear on your way out."

Heh. Yeah, I "changed" their e-mail to the president of Dannon to tell him not to listen to those whiners.

Here's another program they find "offensive":

ABC - Saving Private Ryan
Saving Private Ryan (brought to you by Ford Motor Company) was aired during a PRIME TIME slot and contained not only brutally graphic violence but also scores of profanities. The f-word was used 21 times on prime-time, network television! Once again, the network pushed the decency envelope during prime time and got away with it.

My god, talk about not seeing the forest for the trees!

This is only the tip of the iceburg. These Moms need to get a life. They are worried about the superficial. What about the poor cows that make that yogurt. That's where the outrage should be. :D

As far as I can tell from the few times I've recoiled in horror when my mom actually watches that crap, it's just a string of Melissa Gilbert "Woman in Trouble from a Crazy Man" movies.

Here is mine:
Keep your offensive commercial on tv

As a non-member of OneMillionMoms.com, I ask that you please continue your commercial showing the maid in the skimpy outfit. Your products are of quality enough that you do not have to exploit sex to sell them, but sex sells. I feel these kinds of ads have a negative effect on whiners, so keep up the good work.

I hope you will honor my request. I would hate for you to spoil your good name and lose sales because of the wackos from onemillionmoms. I hope you will respond that you have continued the ad and have plans for similar ads in the future. I understand that la Creme, Lite 'n Fit, Frusion, and Fruit on the Bottom are a few of your products.

I look forward to hearing from you with a positive response.

It's the biggest feminist channel on cable. It's got continual movies about man-bashing, kids leaving home for college, and need-emotional-support-from-my-mother-because-I-can't-ever-have-a-baby type movies.

Heh. Yeah, I sent one to the President of Dannon, too:

Mr. Kunz,

The below is one of the most foolish things I have ever read. I urge you to stick to your guns and not let a repressionist fringe group bully you with the imaginary threat of lost sales. I thought the ad was all right, nothing to write home about, but certainly not a jumping point for an e-mail writing campaign to pull it off the airwaves.

This country has become so enamored of their desire for no one's feelings to ever be hurt that we've become a knee-jerk reactionary society. Don't buckle to this foolishnes. Continue to let your commercial air and ignore these people. Don't forget that while you usually only hear from those who have a problem with your product, there are many many many more people who support you, or at least DON'T support them.

Keep up the good work. Love your coffee yogurt, as does my MOM.

Yeah, God forbid that we actually see married couples who have fun together instead of seeing how quickly they can get to the divorce lawyer. (Please understand that this isn't a slap at divorced people, but a plug for HAPPY marriages)

Reminds me of the dumb parental control feature on my Bell Express Vu satellite receiver.

It's nice and easy to use and works well, but the ratings of most shows is just plain dumb. I once tried blocking channels that are NC-17 or R, or have nudity or sexual content. It blocked so many channels including some rated PG because the show said the word "sex" a couple of times, or I guess what they considered "sexual references".
