My friend's GF worked at a zoo back in HS/College and I got to feed one grapes and stuff a few times. It was like a little dog with wings. He was very friendly, and liked to be held pretty well. The first time I saw it walking around on a table, I thought it was kind of spooky, but you get used to it soon enough.
Wrestling with the baby chimp was much scarier, it was strong as hell and only weighed about 40 pounds. He liked to try to grab between your legs...
