Man, my 17" iXPS2 is pretty damn big... but i think i could seriously go to 19" if Dell came out with one.

LOL i wonder if my cubicle would have room though.

It weighs 14.4 lbs, it's basically a movable desktop because no one is going to want to lug that around for any length of time.

Laptop resolutions should be higher though, since people generally sit closer to a laptop than a normal display.

19" WS should be 2560x1600 minimum.

The new XPS 1710 looks very nice. 512MB 7900GTX GO. :Q Faster than most desktops.

res is 1920x1200. too lazy to do pixel pitch, math lolz

Yes the new Dell 17" displays are 1920x1200. The 15.4" were 1920x1200. Small print and super fine dpi. (145!) 2560x1600 on a 17 or 19 would rock big time. Nice thing is the latest gen GPU can push that display with no problem. :)
