Setting up a small ftp server for my office, nothing fancy.
I have a small server box with 1Ghz P3/384Mb RAM/80Gb HDD/CDRW/2x 10/100 NICs.
I was thinking of running the OS from CD, and save all the 80Gb for storage.
Any good live linux distro which is more or less ready ftp server???

Thanks!

Does DSL have an ftp server? I thought they only had a client. Although I'm pretty sure they have some ftp server package if you wouldn't mind downloading, though.

If you use DSL, at the prompt where it says, "Boot: ", type "dsl toram". You can load the whole contents of the cd in the ram with that much and it'll run like butta.

Knoppix or Damn Small Linux. DSL runs the Debian architecture so get a ftp server for Debian.
