I recently put together a home server running Windows Server 2012 Standard (It was free, or i'd have used essentials or WHS2011). I've got my network shares configured and my backups scheduled, and the big question now is "now what?"
I know i'll be using it to transcode/stream movies to my PS3/Xbox/WDLive etc, and honestly that covers the three core reasons I built the thing in the first place, but i'm starting to wonder what else I can do with it. Is there a list floating around of really awesome software for home servers? I'm sure I can do all sorts of cool stuff with it that I didn't even think of.
