Good linux distros for new Montevina based notebooks?

So I'm probably going to order a Lenovo T400 this week... Are there any linux distros right now that fully support the montevina platform out of the box?

I didn't know if I should put this in the laptops forum or the OS forum... lol

this really isnt a surprise, given the way drivers are handled in linux. but many thinkpads run linux very well.

the T400, however, is quite new so as i google around, it seems to have some issues with linux support, which is pretty typical. example

if youre hard up for a T400 and want it now, get it and run windows until you can find some evidence that support is better. i would imagine debian/ubuntu will have good support before long, maybe fedora, too.
