good LCDs?

what are some good LCD's in the market right now? something in the $500-$600 range maybe?

Looking for a decent 19" LCD to reccommend for a friend to give as a gift to her brother.

I have the 19" Planar that I picked up from Dell about 1.5 years ago. It's a great LCD.

i currently have a dual setup with these guys and i love them. i've had dell's before, they are good, the color seems richer on these though.
