Good LCD Monitor for Gaming

Hello. I'm in the market for a new monitor, which I'd like to use for gaming.
Does anyone recommend a LCD monitor for gaming? Or should I just purchase
a CRT and wait a year or two for the LCDs to get better? Thanks.

I just got the Hitachi 17IN LCD 1280X1024 Model - CML174B from Monitorsdirect. It rules for gaming. No ghosting, no streaking. I play Battlefield 1942 non stop and I'm a beta tester for Star Wars Galaxies. It's a great monitor.

I second that. Ive had the white version of it since february, and play loads of different games on it, and its far better than any CRT that ive used.
Its the Original Gamers TFT.

I guess I can fourth it. I've had the White version myself since February also. NICE Monitor. Also, make sure you get it from Monitors Direct. They have good prices and no problems.
