The pricetag is alittle under 6k but thats also including a 20GB creative MP3 player and Battlefield 2 and 3dmark 2k5 professional

If you have right around 6k to burn on a lappy (wish I did) check out voodoopc.com you can get a dual core AMD 64 with either the X800XT or 6800 Ultra.

May as well call that a SFF PC lol. If you have money to burn and want to burn it on that type of machine, then I'm sure it performs really well. Probably heavy and battery life is gonna be more like have a built in UPS then anything (IE just there to keep you up long enough to save your work or keep you up when you get a power spike.).

A64 > P4

Also, I might have to call shens on 3GB RAM. To my knowledge all mobile chipsets (even P4) only support 2GB. Even the BEASTLY P4 mini-desktops that had 4 SODIMM slots only supported 512MB each (to my knowledge). I could very well be wrong, but would need a link to admit it 🙂

Oh, and don't buy now. Wait for Yonah and a Go 7800GTX. Or just get an A64 X2 and Go 7800GTX. 😀

Ouch...6K on a laptop...Where's the Excedrine...I think I have a headache. And I questioned my decision to spend $1,800 on my Dell 9300. But heck...if you have money to burn do whatever floats your boat.

That is not a good laptop.

That is a good SFF machine though. By definition, you should be able to use a laptop on your lap.
