I need a backpack for school to carry my Laptop and whatever books I have. My laptop is an m1330 so I dont need anything huge. Does anyone have any recommendations for around $60?
 
Not to take over this thread, but I just ordered a 15.4" notebook and need backpack recommendations. (I will be carrying engineering books).
 
i love my timbuk2 pack, but its usually based on macbook sizes. the 14" t60 i have fits fine, and some older 15" models (i doubt a 15.4 would fit, check their website and see) will squeeze in a 1330 will fit perfectly.

check the website, then ebay. then google....i bought mine at REI for about half-price and LOVE it. they have many different styles to choose from (timbuk2, not necessarily REI) and you can find several on ebay for half-price (they usually retail for $100 new)

North Face Recon

A little above your posted budget, but this pack has a built-in padded laptop pocket that your m1330 would fit nicely in. Mine carried a Dell Inspiron 1420 to school with no problems. Plus, you have all the storage you need for class and still have a pack you can easily take hiking/camping.
