Forgive me if I'm out of place asking here but a friend of mine will be separating from the Air Force shortly and I've suggested that he make use of a head hunter to smooth the transition (he's got a background in network security.) Problem is, I've been in the military so long myself I'm not familiar with any decent agencies. Anyone have recommendations?

It all comes down to where you're at. Some are great, others are downright sharks. You can start with Robert-Half.

TekSystems found me my current permanent position, which is awesome. I have no idea how "good" they are though in general, however. I've gotten several hits from Robert Half in the past but have never actually taken one of the positions.

Pinnacle Partners is another (not sure if it is national or not) one in this area, but in my experience, they really seem to low-ball on salaries.
