Hi, I run IIS on my winXP box at home. I want to get a static IP and register my domain, but I'm beginning to think that many ISP's that offer static IP limit the number of TCP/IP connections. Can anyone recommend a good provider in the region that will allow me to run my own web server? Tahkns!

Warsong, which service plan do you have and at what price? It looks very thorough, but a bit pricey....

i have the 1.1Mb SDSL for $199/month. 4 statics IPs, 100 MB webspace, no restrictions, etc. Speakeasy is a little higher priced than some other DSL companies but the connection is awesome and stable. We have three hard core gamers in my apartment and we all get 40-50 pings normally. We also host a MOH:AA server that regularly has 10-16 players on there with many players having sub-100 pings.

btw, like blstriker said, i've heard good things about dslextreme, too.

DSL Reports is the place to go for reviews and information about ISPs. You can get many users opinions there.
