Good ice

I love it. I am talking about the ice that comes in chunks the size/shape of a pea and isn't solid but more snowball-like. Great to chew and somehow makes drinks taste better. Mmmm...

Anyone know if they make consumer ice makers that make this stuff?

We have one at work that makes that ice and also dispenses chilled water. The manufacturer is a Japanese name but I'm not at work so I can't check for you. It's a countertop unit that's the size of a dorm fridge.

I checked their price list and it's $8k-$10k. Jesus. I thought maybe I could afford to get one for home. Not anymore!

If anything, check the brand out and see if there's anything in your price range. eBay is probably your best bet.
