"Good" Hydrocool review

The only problem with this review is that the reviewer uses the temp displays from the front of the Hydrocool. He never mentions that the temp probe the set is using is on top of the wb and not a very accurate reading of cpu temp. So the temp reading is most likely 10+ degrees centigrade off. This review seems like a nice bit of fluff for the manufacturer but not much else.

I hate seeing half assed reviews that could have been fine with a little more work. If this guy had given us temps out the bios for the hydrocool and for an air cooled HS, we could have used the data for comparison and gotten something out of it. Instead this seems like a hydrocool commercial to me....

Yeah, but at least they are as close to accurate as your going to get since amd and intel added the internal sensor. I know the calibration can have large effects but you can reproduce them in most cases as long as the motherboard is the same and the bios is the same version.

The temps from the probe on the hydrocool are much closer to the water temp in the system than to the actual cpu temp. That just doesn't cut it as far as I'm concerned.

"Each temperature reading comes directly from the temperature display on the Hydrocool unit"

every review i have read said that that the display was always SEVERAL C under the actual temps
