Are there still any of those out there for overclocking? Mobo is a DFI NF4 SLI-DR Expert.

Get ahold of an "AVC Sunflower" 4-heatpipe stock AMD heatsink. They work well. You can find them on ebay for $20 or so.

The stock AMD cooler with 2-4 heat pipes is pretty good (obviously the 4 heat pipe version is superior to the 2 heat pipe version)... do you already have one of those coolers? If so I'd see what you can do on that cooler before spending money on an upgrade that might only get you another 100-200MHz. My Opteron 165 did 2.7GHz on the 4 heat pipe version without a sweat. I pushed it further, but settled on 2.7GHz as I was happy with the voltage and temps.

I lapped my X2 3800+ and my AC Freezer 64 Pro, and got to 2.8ghz (on a cold day). Too bad AC changed the retention mechanism , making the freezer pro for s775 the same exact cooler but with non interchangeable retention mechanisms. Now my poor 3800 and ac 64 pro are laying around...

I use this. It was $19.99 at newegg. It isn't the best, but it works pretty well and is pretty cheap.
