What are so good recommendations for an HSF for an Asus CUSL2-C motherboard.

I am using an alpha 6035 with the sunon fan. Heatsink fits nicely, easy to remove, and the fan is really quiet. Still keeps my P3 1ghz at 31 degrees too.

I was thinking of getting the Alpha 6035.The new version is suppose to have an AMD Approved clip so I was wondeing if this clip is as tight on the p3 as clips are for the tbirds.I have installed a few tbirds and they were tight to install.

I have the alpha with the new AMD clip. It is much tighter than the older ones. The old ones barely put any pressure on the chip and were really easy to put on/off. They are a little bit harder now, but still reasonable. A lot easier than most other heatsinks. I dont like using pliers and screw drivers, I put the alpha on with just my hands.

I posted over on the motherboard forums wondering if the PEP66 fits on the CUSL2-C without mod.Hopefully someone can answer this.

yea i'm also wondernig if the pep66 will fit. it seems to be getting some of the best cooling results, but from what I recall, it's made to work better with slotkets. Will this fit in an cusl2?

I am pretty sure it wont fit with the regular 60mm fans. Maybe with the new thin fans though.
