Good hotels in New Orleans?

My wife and I are going to New Orleans April 21 and 22 to see the blue angels. Can someone suggest a good place to stay around Lake Front Airport in New Orleans?

The hotels around the airport do not have very good reviews on google maps, so I decided to post here.

Well, I am not sure about the Lake Front area, but I can only say from experience that the best way to stay in NOLA is to stay at a B&B. The Terrel House in one such example where I've stayed. This place is about a 20 minute drive from the Lakefront airport.

airport hilton is clean and nice.
