Also must be better than stock cooler.

Wanting to keep it $35 shipped or below. I ain't looking for top of the line but something better than stock. Also would like to use my 80mm fan on it.

Am new to Athlon 64 but will my Thermaltright ALX-800 work with the Athlon 64? Will all socket A heatsinks fit or no?

not sure if you can get something better than stock for $35 shipped...stock isnt that bad at all. you WILL max out your winchester, and my load temps are only ahout 50C.

I am thinking stock cooling isnt quiet. I want something more quiet.

No it is nowhere close to being quiet.But im sure you can mod it to attach an 80mm fan using a fan guard and washers.
