I'm looking for some good headphones with ALOT of bass so that I can listen to my music without disturning others. I am looking for some good all around head phones. They would be used in conjunction with my iPaq and a wireless 802.11b CF card to create a mobile wireless mp3 player.

Crappiest
Headphones
Ever

In a side by side comparison with my $30 Aiwa HP-X222 cans from Best Buy, the only difference I spotted were the slightly softer highs on the Sony. Other than that, I couldn't hear a difference.....totally overrated crap.

Bass is very well represented with closed headphones....you CANT find good closed headphones for under $100. Buy some Grado SR60s, and live with a little less bass and a lot more accurate sound.

For headphones with A LOT of bass, accurate sound, and closed so that you don't disturb those around you, all for under $100, you want the Sony MDR-V6's (NOT the MDR-V600's, I cannot stress this difference enough).

I bought the Sennheiser HD-570's for my brother. Amazon has them for under $100. I think they are fantastic. Very light, extremely comfortable, excellent sound. The Sennheiser's are much better then the Sony MDR-V600's in my opinion, which I own...

The Grado's are also nice... but not as comfy as Sennheiser.
