Good, hard work feels so rewarding!

I have been doing homework for about an hour and five minutes straight (my most homework all year...hahah) and I feel good! It feels so rewarding!

Then, after I finish this math homework (it's so easy ), I am going to work on learning rocks and minerals for my school's Science Olympiad.

Yes, I'll be working from 5:40PM-10PM straight with only a few short breaks, but it feels good. I think it's because I am doing quality work.

Am I crazy?!

These rocks are a pain in the butt to identify...it's okay, though, later on when I get into a good college I'll thank myself for spending a about 20 hours in a week working on this stuff. You can't imagine how much colleges like people being on the Science Olympiad team, especially one of the best in the country. Plus, it is fun, and I get a free trip to Colorado Springs, Colorado for the Nationals (presuming we get there, we have a bulls eye on our back because the one team that finished ahead of us in states finished about 6 spots behind us at nationals...yikes! ).

Haha when you get into college, you'll learn how to slag off like I did j/k. I hope your hard work pays off. From experience, it is very painful when your hard work gets invalidated over something superficial.

Good hard work is rewarding as long as somebody notices. There is this one saying that goes:

When I do something right nobody remembers, but when I do something wrong nobody forgets.


That goes with school work as well as everyday life. So I hope you go on feeling better about yourself.
