I'm wanting to buy a handgun for home protection. I'm looking at getting a 9mm or a 45 at least. What's a good website for an online purchase....or just research, etc. Thanks-
 
Actually here isn't so bad.

Most of the Gun forums split into Glock/1911/Sig/etc.. fan groups.

Is there a good site for buying guns? I probably could go to a local shop...I just like to price things out online first to get an idea of what kinds of bargains are out there.

I don't know how familiar with guns you are.
If you are a novice, go to a gun dealer and rent/test the guns before making your decission.
Gun dealers / people with FFL can get you pretty much anything. And you can't have ANY firearms shipped to you if you do not have a FFL.
PS, try not to buy cheap guns, or Glocks ( not meant for novice but good gun) if you are a novice.
