wasn't it like twice?

of the thousands of kids who passed through Neverland, it seems weird to think that there wasn't a single parent who wasn't willing to sacrifice their kids for cash or a single security guard, cleaning lady, etc who wasn't willing to sacrifice their job to expose a pedophile.

He was taken to court twice. There were about a half dozen that came out of the woodwork during his prosecution but he settled out of court with the rest.

Ah, so that means it is true! Good thing we've never heard of a jury being wrong before.

We've also never heard of baseless accusations amirite?

We also know how to spot a pattern, amirite?

And lets be honest. I know those who loved his work like to defend him, but all you have to do is look at the wierdo and know that shit wasnt right.

Clearly the dude was fucked up. I don't think anyone will deny that.
But the question is whether he was a child molester, or he was just stuck with the mental age and personality of a child, which made him enjoy spending all his time with children.

We can all guess and make assumptions, but the truth is none of us really know. Is it really hard to believe that some asshole parents (who were fucked up enough to let their kid sleepover with a grown man) would convince their kids to make up stories to try to get millions of dollars?

Was he a child molester? Maybe.

Was he a mentally damaged guy who put himself in situations that made it very easy for someone to accuse him of being a molester, whether it was true or not? Definitely.

On January 1, 1994, Jackson settled with the Chandler family and their legal team out of court, in a civil lawsuit for $22 million. After the settlement Jordan Chandler refused to continue with Police criminal proceedings. Jackson was never charged, and the state closed its criminal investigation, citing lack of evidence.[95]

lol. Means: thanks for the payout, I'm gonna GTFO now before you uncover the truth

I see nothing about other allegations, therefore you must be full of shit.

He was never conviccted.

Innocent people usually don't settle for $22m outside of court.

Those concerned with actual justice and punishing criminals don't either. There's two sides to this coin, you know.

Ah, so that means it is true! Good thing we've never heard of a jury being wrong before.

Apparently you have better evidence than they did, then?

Let's see. He went on trial for it several times. He gave children alcohol and called it Jesus Juice.

If you were a parent, would you send your child to MJ's estate for a "sleep over" if it's common knowledge that he's giving children alcohol and raping them? Of course you wouldn't. But parents did it anyway and he kept getting accused of child molestation.

Do the math. Just because a jury couldn't convict him doesn't mean he's not a piece of shit child-raping hell spawn.

He was one of the most influential faces in music, yes, but he threw all of that away with his psychopath antics in the past decade.

This is about as much as I care that he's dead: ---> . <---

I don't care about him at all, even his music (beyond maybe some of his early stuff with the Jackson 5). This isn't even about Jackson specifically. I just think it's ridiculous that people think they know more about what happened from reading fourth-hand reports than the people actually at the trial who were presented with all the actual evidence.

You don't get charges pressed against you time and time again (MANY of which were settled out of court by just paying off the victims with millions of $$$) without there being some sort of truth to it.

You'd think that, after the first charge, you wouldn't put yourself in a situation where you could be accused again. But noooooooo, his lust for littleboyparts was too powerful. He just kept having them over, kept molesting them, and kept paying off the parents. Two cases out of a half dozen go to court, even though he doesn't get convicted, and you're defending him.

Once one does it and succeeds, you better damn believe a train of "newly outraged" parents is gonna line up for their taste.

Again, not saying he was innocent or guilty, but this kind of speculation has as much credence on either side of the fence.

It just burns some people to think that someone like Jackson was more beloved worldwide in 50 years than they could ever be in 10 lifetimes.

If it was 'common knowledge' then how come there was only ONE person who made that charge?

How many dozens of kids slept over at the ranch and how many of them made this charge? Read up on the criminal court case. The family who accused him had all kinds of money issues and their allegations only surfaced when it looked like MJ was throwing them out of his house.

i agree with this one, i think that family is taking advantage of MJ's reputation to make a fast buck.

mj just likes kids too much , probably due to his lack of childhood himself. i can't say for certain how far mj took with his love for kids. but OJ is more guilty than MJ for sure.

I'm amazed at some of the MJ Fanboi's here...Whoda thunk that ProfessionalJohn was one? I didn't know MJ was a Republican...(those are the only people I've ever seen PJ defend so vigorously)
Then jpeyton, (the member, NOT the moderator) is a vehement MJ defender...I am surprised at that as well.

Hey...waidaminit...profjohn = PJ jpeyton = JP...coincidence? I wonder...:roll: :p

I still stick with my statement that I do NOT know if he actually molested kids or not, but he was certainly one wierd motherfucker...and I am not the slightest bit sad at his passing.
(no NORMAL or SANE individual would put themselves through all the surgery, chemical treatments, drug therapy, etc. that he did trying to become "white," all the while, the whole world was laughing at him.)

How does that make him any less influential as an entertainer?

Ok rant over.

That's called libel. It was never proven that he molested anyone.

Hey may be a pedo though.
