Good Glide card- Deus Ex

I have Deus Ex and it looks awful on my GeForce 2 GTS (well not awful but I've heard the game is biased toward Glide), and I am upgrading. I want TV-Out and I want something relatively new. Will Deus Ex look good on a Geforce 3 card or GeForce 2 Ultra? OR do need a GLide specific card?

Any other help would be greatly appreciated

THanks

It doesn't look that bad on a GTS if you run it in 32 bit color and apply all the latest patches. It looked really good in opengl with the loki patch, but seeing the muzzle flashes visible when you weren't firing pissed me off, so I went d3d. With the latest patches, it worked out to be quite playable for me--and it surely would be on a geforce 3, though remember that unreal has a lot of dependency on CPU speed. Glide is dead, deal with it man. ;)

I had a lot of fun with Deus Ex, but I didn't figure out how much crap it was until I beat it: I had some 15000 upgrade points left and nearly full ammo when I beat it. (I upgrade pistol once, maxed out small arms, two upgrades to hacking), pretty anticlimatic, I had saved all my HE ammo and Sabot shells for a big boss type, and there never were any. Talk about anti-climatic. Fun game, but crap in a way.

Wood13,

I know I'm still a big fan of 3dfx (even if the company doesn't exist anymore) and I miss the way it handled GLIDE based games (UT). However, I don't think any newer games will be based on GLIDE Technology. The future is in the hands of ..D3D and OpenGL. With that said a G3 ti200, G3, G3 ti500 or ATI would be the way to go if you got the money. To be specific we need to know your system.

P.S.
I recommend setting up a RIG in your My.Anandtech site (easy to create if you don't have one) and adding it to your profiles footer. This way everyone will have access to view your system specs.
