Good "general" forums?

What forums would you recommend for general topics (i.e., most of the stuff that gets thrown in here and P&N). For example, it might have sections for politics, religion, philosophy, movies, finance, etc. I'd want forums that were fairly active and mature/moderated.

Well, I could make some compromises.

EDIT: And the politics and religion aren't really my thing any way, I was just listing sample topics.

don't know of any. you could try an over-50-and-fabulous board.
