Looking for a new gas grill since mine is all falling apart and rusted. Would like a stainless steel one or something that can hold up better to michigan winters. Don't care about side burner or any other useless crap. Just want quality burners and a temp gauge would be nice. Budget is $300 and under.

Can a decent grill be found in this price range?

The question is, what kind of grill mileage does it get?

my parents have bought a bunch of expensive grills with "lifetime warranty"s but they've all fallen apart fairly quickly, only to find out that the lifetime warranty only applies to the stainless steel base, whereas the damage is always the burners or pit rusting and falling apart. so we've resigned to buying cheap $30 grills once the old one falls apart.

Agreed. The weber is the start of a nice grill and if you got a 3 burner for 250 then that rocks. It only goes up from there.

If you can swing 300, then push it up to 500-600 and you'll be very happy.

I have a 3 burner stainless steel Jenn-Air from Lowes and I love it. I paid about $600 for it though but it offers much more consistent temperature control than any sub $300 grill I've owned. I've grilled steaks, salmon, burgers, hotdogs and even slow cooked ribs and a roast on it. It's a great grill and I like it more every time I use it.

I've had it about a year now.
