I need recommendations for a good gaming LCD monitor. I don't want a monitor bigger than 21 inches though. I can't afford those 24" monitors out there.

What are the specs that I should be looking for, besides resolution, when picking a good LCD monitor for gaming?

I was going to buy the Hyundai L90D+ here.

but my video card with a dvi port died on me... so I'm going to wait till ATi release their r520's. It has 8ms response time and it decent and you can find the review on that here at toms hardware here.

But I don't know about LCD and gaming since the native resolution is at 1280x1040 would be pointless for me to get a high end video card.

Be sure to get a DVI monitor, and read up on the LCD section found in our very own Displays section entitled LCDs for pros and newbs (thats paraphrased) - you will have to scroll down in it a bit <---its VERY good reading to learn about LCDs.
Best find out there wouild be a sub-16ms response time in combination with a 8-bit color panel. Good luck.
Remember that gret to grey response time is most important (and not usually listed)!
