I don't know anything about your joystick or BF2. In BF2 do you have some sort of controls menu option that reads maybe Aileron and you push the stick to one side and the result is something like X-Axis? If so, go into the menu and when you click on the place where you would change Aileron to something else, push the stick the other way instead. If right now it reads something like -X-Axis, then the joystick has to be used counterintuitively. Make it read the opposite way.

BF2 sure has folks buying memory and joysticks, doesn't it? I've got a CH Products Combatstick that I tried using with the X-Axis inverted for quite some time before I figured it all out. Haven't used mine a lot, but I really like it. If I had it to do all over again I'd get that 32 button or whatever it is Fighterstick or whatever it is.

Edit to state that the Fighterstick is 132 function, not 32. But that wasn't the question, was it?

nope that wasnt the question, 😛

anyways i figured out why it wasnt working. i was running bf2 on xp64, which the joystick somehow inverted the x-y-axis/incompatible. no option in bf2 to change it probably beacause it is not a dedicated aerial game. dualbooted to xp32 and its perfect now.

now if only i can get the flying down without swaying left/right and hitting them mountains. 🙂
