that is what my order form newegg is going to be, im ordering my watercooling from a seperate site, this is my first computer, so if there is anything that will not run together please let me know, also price is not an issue, i realize i could save money on this system by going with other brands or products but i am not going to, so please post constructively and not "your spending to much money"

If money is not an issue, you can upgrade this further...a start would be: Q6850 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16819115026

There are also higher priced, but slightly better, motherboards out there than that one (in my opinion) as well as RAM, and you could also buy another 8800GTX to SLI them.

Don't buy the System Builders Vista. It's called that, and it's priced like that, because it is only allowed to be installed once. It is made for system builders like DELL for example. If you want to buy Vista, get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16832116140

Don't install 64 bit Vista either. The driver support for it currently is horrible and you're just asking for problems. Put 32 bit on and wait a while for driver support to improve.

The system you currently have outlined is fine the way it is (from what I know). It will bring you plenty of gaming pleasure. The PSU is a little high on the wattage, but I went with the same watts because it will be helpful if you decide to SLI, or if you continue upgrading.

I just hope that you spend as much money on a quality monitor as you are on the system, or it won't matter anyways. :)

You might want to wait for a senior member to comment on this before you finalize it though as they're a lot better than me at nitpicking systems. The only reason I'm even posting is because your specs are pretty much the same as what I've finalized. Good luck.

Edit: Forgot to mention a very important thing that was told to me by another member of Anandtech and that I researched later.

The memory you've chosen (and I could very well retract my comment about there being 'better RAM out there') is useless for the Q6600. You need to get dual channel PC5300 (667mhz) DDR2. Basically, from what I researched and what was told to me, the Q6600 isn't able to utilize faster memory than that, and so it will actually run slower in some instances because it's not being ffully utilized. So you are not doing anything but spending a lot of money for RAM that is completely worthless. It doesn't matter if money is an issue or not in this case, there's no reason even for a millionaire to spend $2000 if $500 is going to net him the same thing, maybe even better. They didn't get to be millionaires by wasting cash ya know (well, some might have...)

the only exception to this is if you are overclocking, in which case it will be able to utilize faster ram.

So, I recommend going with this RAM (it's the same that I ordered with my 6600): http://www.newegg.com/Product/...&Tpk=TWIN2X2048-5400C4

Also keep in mind that if you decide to go with 32-bit vista for driver issues, you will only be able to utilize around 3.2 gigs of the RAM with your video card. So, either get one of those kits, or just get two (like I did) and have an extra 1.2 gigs of RAM (Always nice).

Ram is cheap, it's a bit stupid not to buy ddr2 800mhz ram, 2x1gb 4-4-4-12 timings for 50-60$. He's buying 2x2gb though, which is easier for overclocking. There are cheaper 2x2gb sets out there though, can be had for 160$ or so. Like these for example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820145184

And since he's going to watercool, I bet he's also going to overclock. I assume you picked the case since someone suggested it to you for watercooling? And a qx6850 is nice, but a q6600 can be pushed to 3.4-3.6ghz if you use watercooling, without to much trouble. No need to spend an extra 750$ for what 'might' but is not assured, net you an extra 250mhz after overclocking. The extra cache also helps, but still not worth 750$, better then would be to crossfire or SLI some videocards.

Btw, I'd swap the PSU for this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817608007 If you ever want to SLI/Crossfire, you're better of with that PSU then a 620hx from corsair. And no, etasis isn't a really known brand like Corsair, but those are server grade PSU's.

As for Vista Ultimate, it comes with both 32 and 64 bits software. I'm currently running 64bits and it hasn't given me issues so far, except with fifa 08 in 1 screen, but it doesn't really affect the game in any way or shape.
