i got nothing but worthless replies when i asked this question here too, like "write your own" or "counters are SO 1998". so i tried another site and was recommended:

the one i'm using right now is here, found by google:

i'm happy with it except it places a very small text ad under the counter. you can see on my page (text only):

i was told the other two don't have this text so that's why I was looking for something better. and this is why people ask for recommendations instead of just googling. i hope this was helpful, if you try these why not report back and tell everyone what you think
