I'm starting to hit midlife crisis mode where I pick up and discard hobbies almost as a hobby as I search for some level of fulfillment in the existential rut that is my life.

My newest thing is learning to play an instrument to at least an introductory level. I had signed up for Fender's instrument learning class and had taken a number of lessons last year, but somewhere along the way they seem to have lost my account and refused to refund me the $90 annual subscription as part of the process.

So instead of laying down a bunch of money on subscription fees, I'd like to locate a free virtual music tutoring program that I can use to at least get the basics down on something like Piano or Guitar.

Once I have the basics and have shown myself that I can commit, then I might put a little money behind it to get to the next level.

Any recommendations?
