Good (free?) software for streaming media server?

It would need to host .wma, .mp3, .avi & .mov files. The computer cannot be dedicated, it is a workstation.

Any suggestions? The .mov can be left out but I would really like support for that.

You can use shoutcast to stream mp3's.

As for the rest there is a program which is currently about to finish developement with support for all of the files you mentioned.

A program under re-developement at the moment, due to be finished in the next week.

Myself and 4 other guys are working round the clock on it.

Search google for it, you should find an older version 0.8 or version 1.3.

Version 2 is about to be released, the site is finished and awaiting publication.

If you want I will let you know when it is released.

I doubt you will find an old copy as we removed most mirrors for downloading it.

Ill let you know towards the end of the week.

Yes it is, its supported on all NT based systems.

The corporate version is supported on windows server systems only and im in the process of testing it on win2k server and win2k3 server :)
